Lodging and fine dining in the greater Cooperstown area
Among the oldest restaurants and inns in central New York, the Lake House is only 15 minutes from the attractions of the Cooperstown area and near the natural beauty of the Leatherstocking Region’s countryside. Built in 1843, the Lake House Restaurant is on the shore of Canadarago Lake with lodging on the second and third floors each with private bathroom. Also associated with the Lake House, is the Baseball Hotel, a hotel built in the 19th century. While maintaining its original charm, it has been completely renovated and new bathrooms have been added to each hotel room. It is located in the historic Church Street Area next to the Bible Baptist Church on Gould Ave. A hot breakfast is included with your stay at the Baseball Hotel. Also located on this property are the Town Houses. Richfield Springs was once known for its sulphur baths, the Town Houses were once the bath house associated with the Hotel.
