Our Cancellation Policy - INN
Last minute cancellations allow little chance of rebooking a room and can affect a small Bed & Breakfast  significantly.

For this reason, a 14 day/2 week notice is required. We will be happy to issue a refund, minus a $25 Service Charge.

Reservations made less than 14 days in advance and any promotional reservations/reservations for the entire second floor are considered non-refundable.

Our Cancellation Policy - Restaurant
When large groups make a reservation for lunch, dinner or other special event there is a lot of work that goes into preparing for your visit.  This means that last minute cancellations can be very costly for our restaurant.  For this reason,  a reservation for a group of TEN or more people will require a valid credit card number be given at the time of the reservation.  If  a cancellation is made less than  24 hours prior to your scheduled arrival, there will be a charge of $2.50 per person.

We Appreciate Your Understanding.

Other points of interest:

We are a pet friendly facility and will accept guests with dogs.  It is important that you consider this when making a reservation to stay at the Lake House.  We also have sled dogs and a cat of our own.

Richfield Springs  was famous for its sulfur baths in the early 1900's.  There are numerous sulfur springs in the area and although the Lake House has its own excellent well water, on occasion, there is a hint of sulfur that you might detect.  Sulfur water is known for its health properties.

The Lake House has been modernized in many ways but part of its charm is the rural setting beside beautiful Canadarago Lake.  We still have farms and livestock in the surrounding fields.  Farmers cut and bale hay, spread manure, and chop corn.  For kids from the city, it is something interesting for them to experience.

We strive to make each guest's stay enjoyable.  We will help you with directions, information for sites of interest, and in general do our best to make your stay memorable.  We always try to honor your request for the room of our choice. On occasion, if we do have to make a last minute  adjustment, we will always upgrade your room or offer you a full refund.  We have many guests that return year after year.  We hope you will become one of them.
